It would be more intuitive if users could send in their ratings as they make them with a button available next to each rating, or some other mechanism. The fact that the send in my latest ratings button is way down on the bottom of the page (and depending on how many posts are on that page) means that some people may not realize they need to push that button to submit ratings.
