Description
All blog titles are missing (Splash theme, green & blue colour). Only when mouse is taken at the appropriate places, can one see the titles in shadow.

Hi John, thanks for the patch + pull request.
Unfortunately the solution isn't quite there presently as ''a'' isn't explicit enough.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask otherwise once you've corrected it create another pull request

Hi John,
This has been integrated now, however there was one more thing to it, the orange heading uses a light grey colour on the orange background colour. This is incredibly hard to read could you please create an additional patch to set that to something more readable.

Just a thought, I was wondering that forum titles are not-clickable so if there was any specific reason that blog titles should be clickable, especially when we have permalink for each post. The colour issue is coming because blog titles are links. As a workaround, I removed the links from blog post titles by making a minor change in the file /blog/locallib.php and the colour issue was fixed.

Please file the PULL request through this tracker instead, we are not processing the requests on jira at all. I am going to disable the issues and hopefully requests too there.
