When importing activities from one course to another, you currently have to manually deselect each week/topic. This is time intensive if you only want to import one activity. Please add a deselect all option for the import activities screen.

I've put that on the backlog.

In the meantime feel free to help us work on this issue. If you are able to provide a patch, please add a patch label so we will spot it

We are starting to get some real heat on this issue from faculty. The Fall semester is coming up and there will be many people trying to import content, for example just quizzes - not everything, from one course to another. We have just moved to Moodle 2.2 and many people are not aware of the fact that there is no All or None choice feature in Import and Backup. For people with large courses this is a big problem.

Yeah, this is a big deal for us too. A lot of teachers already find Moodle too "complicated" - this definitely doesn't help matters. I'm no programmer, but shouldn't this be fairly easy to implement?

          Just a tip -

I found that Importing one topic from 100 topics, is fun, I miss the "include all/none" for select boxes too

Until it appears for 2.3 there is an alternative solution for browsers which works well-

Firefox, there is an addon which can help - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/checkfox/ once installed you can select whole page and uncheck them all. / check them all easily.

          Chrome - there are a few, this is one - > https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/nnbihdpkeohjdfncchjhidbbonnihaob
