      Description

      The whole installation goes well until I select the "continue" button at the license. It takes me to the "environment error page" but the error list is empty.

      I searched the forums and stuff, but I could find no reference to this particular error. It's probably my own fault, but I tried everything.

        Hello, this is most probably a server configuration issue, please try to add manually following to your config.php file

        @error_reporting(1023);
        @ini_set('display_errors', '1');
        $CFG->debug = 38911;
        $CFG->debugdisplay = true;

        It should then print detailed error messages, I suppose it could be something xml related.

        Hi Petr,

        Thank you for the help, when I include the code it returns the following errors, can you make sense of it?

        Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in /var/www/vhosts/gcrms.co.za/httpdocs/lib/environmentlib.php on line 628

        Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in /var/www/vhosts/gcrms.co.za/httpdocs/lib/environmentlib.php on line 631

        Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/vhosts/gcrms.co.za/httpdocs/lib/environmentlib.php on line 194

        Thank you for your help.

        Regards,
        Riaan

        weird, I have discovered a problem in the error reporting, but this bug should never be triggered unless there is something very wrong with the server itself. I am going to fix that bug, but it will just tell you that something very wrong happened because the environment.xml file can not be read.

        Could you try to upload a fresh copy of moodle files to your server? Please try the latest weekly build available form the download page, thanks.

        Hi Petr,

        I am so sorry, I found the problem, seems my FTP client failed with the environmental.xml file's upload and made a 0 byte file.

        Thank you so much for helping me figure it out.

        Kind Regards,
        Riaan
