Ability to work with grades at the assignment level in workshop

Workshop doesn't allow a teacher to provide a grade to students who miss the assignment or incompleted the assignment without opening up the gradebook to the students. Grades for each workshop should be reported back in the workshop. There are many reason teachers do not make the gradebook accessible to students. So grades for each workshop should be reported to the student in the workshop. One way is allow teachers to override the grades for submission similar to the override for assessment.Another way is to continue to have the faculty finalize the grade in the gradebook but to push the final gradebook grade back to workshop for reporting-- prehaps a final grade report block. Right now, I have to send an email to each student who miss an assignment/or did not complete the assignment informing them of their final grade.
