      Description

I want to see the history of a wiki page to see who has contributed which content in order to grade the students wiki entries.
I use Moodle 2.0.1, Wiki in NWiki format and the history tab. For some pages the correct history list is displayed. For some pages I get the following error message (see attached file):

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/https/testMoodle201/mod/wiki/pagelib.php on line 1263
      Created: Mittwoch, 16 Februar 2011, 04:06 by

Coding error detected, it must be fixed by a programmer: PHP catchable fatal error

The history functionality is critical in my opinion, without this feature I cannot grade student participation in the wiki activity.

I'm able to reproduce this on my weekly build (Moodle 2.0.2+ (Build: 20110316)) when the creator of a page has an invalid userid. Is it possible the student in question was deleted?

Yes this may be the reason. I use Moodle network and I noticed that some of the users coming from remote who contributed to the wiki, suddenly disappeared from the mdl_user table. I don not understand why. I.e. this behaviour may be not a bug in the wiki module but in the mnet authentication plugin.

Take a look at discussion: http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=171512
Indeed it has to do with a nasty bug in the mnet authentication plugin: http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=171512

This ought to have been fixed by MDL-27107 and MDL-29991.
