Web service menu items appear in Settings block when web services are disabled

    • Testing Instructions:
      • fresh install Moodle 2.1+ (Build: 20110713)
      • make sure web serices are not enabled in Settings ->Advanced
      • now go to Settings Site administration -> Web services.
    • Affected Branches:
      MOODLE_21_STABLE

      Description

      In a fresh install Moodle 2.1+ (Build: 20110713), when Web services are not enabled in Settings >Advanced (default), Web services menu items appears on the Settings>Site administration menu.

            I would say it's not a bug as you can go to enable mobile option that enable web service itself.

            The all thing could be improve thought, in this case it's a dev issue.

            As nobody voted for this issue, I think this change is not required. We currently need to access Web service section to enable mobile in one click. Please reopen the issue as a Policy issue if you really want it. In any cases, thanks for your report Andrea.
