I created a quiz and needs have evolved where we want to utilize Lessons. Reuseability appeared to be one of the goals of the question bank, however it still does not appear that the question bank can be leveraged in Lessons. For questions entered into the question bank for quizzes, the recommended method for getting those questions over into Lessons is export/import. However, most of our questions are embedded (cloze) answer questions and the question import in Lessons states that our Cloze questions are an unsupported question type.

Different export/import types were attempted with no success: 1.) GIFT does not appear to support Cloze. 2.) Moodle XML was specified for export and import, 3.) Moodle XML export from question bank with Embedded/Cloze for import into the Lesson - this option did not give an error, however, the screen returned no results.

In lieu of Question Bank support in Lessons, some mechanism is needed for exporting embedded/Cloze question types from the Question Bank and importing Cloze questions into Lessons.
