      Description

I have a private Chinese blog using date+subject permlink style(http://domian/2011/08/07/SubjectInChinese/) as url and added it into my moodle profile as a external blog, but when updating external blog posts in cron.php this problem occurred, it says "Data too long for column "uniquehash" in row 1" when I enabled showing developing information. If i change permlink to numeric style(http://qiuchengxuan.tk/archives/123) this problem does not occur any more.
Our moodle database use utf8 as database char set.

          Thanks for reporting this.

I've put it on our backlog and we'll try to get to it as soon as we can.

In the meantime adding more information, such as screenshots, replication instructions, fix test instructions, a workaround or even a code solution, will help us and other users.
