      Description

Multiple admin pages are missing the admin blocks as well as the dock. This makes navigation between admin pages more difficult. See attached screenshots of admin block appearing correctly in 1.9 on the Environment page, the blocks and dock missing in 2.1 on the same Environment page, and third screenshot of the Grades General Settings page where the blocks and dock do appear correctly in 2.1.

        Hi, Chris.

I don't seem to have this problem.

I went through the first 10 of the pages you suggested, but they each had the correct navigation and settings blocks, which could be docked.

I wonder if this has to with the page type for these pages not being defined in your theme. Try changing your theme to a standard one and let me know if that resolves your issue.

Hi, Michael. I changed to the Standard theme but I'm still having the same problem. Please see attached screenshot of the Standard theme not showing the admin blocks or dock on the same Environment page as the other screenshot. I also tried Formal White and have the problem with that theme, too.

        Hi, Chris.

Sorry, but I can't replicate this. Perhaps you could ask on the forums to see if anyone else has experienced this problem.

Maybe this issue should have remained open a little longer? We have this issue too, but what with the start of our academic year and term, as well as a lot of other higher priority issues, it was deemed too trivial to report. However, would like to see this reopened as it's reproducible on the latest weekly build (2.1.1+).

I installed a pure copy of Moodle 2.1.1 with no non-standard plugins or themes and I left all default settings. I did not have the issue on that site. However, we continue to have the issue elsewhere. As indicated by Paul's response, we are not the only ones having this issue. I don't know if it's a non-default setting or what, but there is a problem here.

        Hi, Chris.

I just had a chat with Sam.

The admin pages have a specific layout. If that is not working in your base theme, it might break elsewhere.

We also thought that if you have some additional blocks on these pages, if they are breaking the layout, this could cause the block to disappear.

Beyond that, we're not sure what we can do without more information.
