Go to http://yourmoodleinstance/admin/settings.php?section=webservicesoverview Run down the list and follow the instructions. I found xmlrpc the easiest protocol to use and I have added a client.php file for testing. Testing. Make sure that you send some messages between students, teachers and possibly the administrator.
