IMS Enterprise created courses not getting default enrolment methods

    Details

      Description

When courses are created by IMS Enterprise, the default enrolment methods (like manual enrolment) are not enabled in the course.

      Replication steps:

      1. Set Manual Enrolments to be added to all new courses.
      2. Site Administration --> Plugins --> Enrolments --> Manual Enrolments (Check Add instance to new courses and save)
      3. Configure IMS Enterprise, use attached file - IMS_Course.xml to create a course.
      4. Check enrolment methods, note, manual enrolments not there.

Apply patch, repeat above process. Note manual enrolments now available

Sorry Ankit, timezones are a real nuisance. Looks like you have it figured now though. Am excited that the IMS Enterprise module is getting some well deserved attention.

            Hi Dan,
Am not sure how to follow the step 3
"Configure IMS Enterprise, use attached file - IMS_Course.xml to create a course."

Can you please elaborate the testing instructions.
            Thanks

Hi Michael, could you please reopen this bug, as it is different to the other? It involves enrolment methods, which are assigned differently to the standard course configuration defaults.
            Cheers,
            Adam

            Hi Michael,

This is actually a separate issue. The other patch, which I also submitted, contains fixes for the default course setup. Number of topics, format, availability, upload size etc. This patch addresses enrolment methods. I concede that they apply to the same plugin, and could be merged into the one fix, but they are separate issues.

            Cheers,
            Adam

On the surface this appears to be the same issue, but looking at your patch it is quite different to the one currently in integration. It might be worth checking of the linked duplicate resolves your problem.
