Missing support for external repo backup/restore

    Description

      When using external repos, current backup/restore process does not allow to encode/decode URLs pointing to the repo. This i particularly true when using external repos allowing for file linking (instead of copying) and using some sort of mechanism to serve files according to context/capabilities.

      Possible solution:

      • Add support in core for encoding/decoding @REPOFILE@ in backup/restore
