      Description

      I'm using MyMobile theme on 10in ANdroid tablet to access assignments and would like to be able to use rubrics on tablet (see http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=194838 )

      Actually, there are 2 issues:

      • When accessing an online test assignment through MyMobile theme, the list of submissions is too large for the screen, I can't scroll to the right. I need to hide all the intermediary fields to see the "grade" link. Have not tried to scroll down as there are not enough submissions on the test platform. (see Assignment_mainscreen.png )
      • When trying to use the rubrics, I can tap the item I'd like to select, the boxes turn green when I try to press them but the selection's not kept. Also, there seems to be a line of radiobuttons piled up on each category of the Rubrics' instance. (see pics: selections were made previously from a laptop)

      The problem appears both on stock android browser and Dolphin HD browser for android.

        For #1, you should be able to scroll to the right, at least that is how it works with the default android browser.

        For #2,
        If I am looking at this correctly, you are trying to grade assignments with the Rubric, but it is not saving your selections?

        Thanks for the quick reply.

        For #1: I can scroll to the right but the columns on the far right don't show (blank area), and when I release touch it slides back to the left; When in landscape mode I can see the whole width - happens on the 2 browsers;

        For #2: Sorry, may not have been precise enough:
        Here's the situation: there was a grading, done on the laptop, in which I'd selected the second "level" in the "content" category (some major content...) - as you can see on the screenshots, it's a slightly different color; If I try to press any of the other grades in that category, it is not kept/saved. The only way to select another grade for the "content" category would be to try and hit the correct radio button in the line of piled up radio buttons you see between "achieves nothing..." (which appears lower) and "notable omissions..." - hope this is clearer.

        Hi, Jean-Luc.

        This looks like two separate issues. It looks the first is related to the MyMobile theme and John is already responding to that (thanks John).

        The second issue relates to the rubrics interface and this should be separated.

        Jean-Luc, could you please launch a second bug report with just the rubrics issue? Use the "Grading methods" component and we can direct the problem to the appropriate developer.

        Michael,

        I think both are theme related. The Rubric grading does not perform as expected within the theme. Of course the theme was never really intended to allow grading, etc, from it, but I can fix it.

        In order to test it though, I also need to fix the other issue, so while they are distinct, they are tied together.

        yes I think it's theme related too, because I can change the grading from a windows computer using Fusion theme;

        Basically, to select one of the items, I need to find the corresponding radio button in the pile, which is vitrually impossible by touch.

        Thanks for looking into it.
