Uploading file without clicking "Save Changes" incorrectly marks assignment as submitted

      In advanced uploading of assignments activity if someone clicks upload and chooses a file, uploads the file without clicking the "Save Changes" button, the assignment is still marked as submitted and gradable but without any file.

      To replicate:
      1. Go into "advanced uploading of files" assignment.
      2. Click Upload.
      3. Choose file and click upload.
      4. Assignment will now show as submitted without the "Save changes" button being clicked.
      5. This shows on "Course Overview Block" for the assignment, as gradable for the instructor, no file is listed though. (See screen shots)
