When choosing an date for the start/end times for the new assignment module in 2.3 I get a frustrating user experience problem because the dropdown list to choose a day/month/year overlaps with the date picker. Please see attached image.

Usually when I see date pickers it is an either or option for displaying the date picker or the select dropdown list (depending on if you have JS enabled or not).

What should happen is if a user has js turned on or "use advanced features" enabled in their profile, then just use the new date picker. Else show the new date picker. Not both.
