      Description

rearranging the order that a choice displays in works fine for Choice's that don't use the limit function, but there isn't an easy way of reordering the options in a choice using the limit function when users have already selected a choice. - (If that makes any sense!)

Maybe we could re-state the "problem." If I understand correctly the comment above describes a situation where students are choosing groups with limits. If one wanted to change the order of the groups on the page, there would be no way to do that because in so doing the student responses to their group choice would be lost or at least rearranged.

I don't see a quick solution to this problem if it means being able to move the last choice up to the top and retain the same votes in that choice. One thing that could and I think should be done though is an option to display choices in random order. This would eliminate some of the survey bias in static lists. Such a change would get my vote.

We use Choices for scheduling assignment presentations, where only one time-slot is available for each response. If we add more choices, they need to be added at the end (or we lose the students selections) - it would be better to be able to move the new choice to a new order rather than at the bottom.

Also, when the Choice Responses are downloaded, the order seems to be random - it would be good if the responses were downloaded in the same order as they are displayed. Perhaps they are related to the time the response is selected and written to the database?
