There should be a threshold defined by admin that limits the number of courses shown on the MyCourses list and MyMoodle page. If the user is enrolled in more than this number of courses, a list of categories would be shown.
This is a very old request we have been faced with since universities and schools have teachers and students enrolled on a lot of courses, sometimes with similar names, and an unorganized list can be very difficult to access.
