Having imported materials from a course where activity completion was set they seem to have brought over the completion data. E.G> on forums it says "Completion options locked One or more students (40)has already marked this activity as completed. "

If I click to edit the text in the forum (e.g. title/description) I cannot save.

If I click to "Unlock completion options" and then save the activity they are NOT cleared or unlocked - I return tot he form and it shows the error message above again.

Only solution is then to make note of conditions, remove tracking, save, re-edit and re-enable conditions.
