I have received several requests to enhance the completion tracking settings on the course default settings page.
Currently you can set completion tracking as either enabled or disabled on the course default settings page.
The feature add would be to add another option to completion tracking allowing you to have it enabled in all courses but have the initial setting on each activity or resource set to:
1. "Do not indicate activity completion"
2. "Students can manually mark the activity as completed" <- current default
3. "Show activity as complete when conditions are met"
This would be helpful to people wanting completion tracking available but not necessarily turned on for every item.
I don't know if it would help save time to have all activities / resources off and enable the ones you want versus having them all on and turning off the ones you don't want.
It would be nice to have a little more control over the default setting.
