Improve the capability overview tool.

Log in as an admin. Create a custom role and override some system capabilities for it. Browse to Settings > Users > Permissions > Capability overview. Try searching, make sure the list is reduced as you type. Search until there is one item only and make sure it is automatically selected. Search until there are no items and make sure the search turns red. Enter a generic search that gives you several results. Select a couple of capabilities (but not all). Select a couple of roles (not all). Submit the form. Check you are shown a comparison for the capabilities and roles you selected. Check that the capabilities and roles are still selected. Check that your search persisted. Clear your search. Select all the capabilities. Select All in roles. Submit the form. Check the display is correct. Check the role you created is displaying its customisations correctly. Repeat in supported browsers.
