Change the .modified class style in your theme's modules.css file. Set the display style attribute to none.

.path-mod-page .modified {display:none;}

Testing Instructions:
Hide

Test in Boost and Clean.

Log in as Admin.

Go to Site administration and upgrade the Page activity plugin.

Create a Course.

Create a Page resource in the Course.

make sure in the 'Appearance' section there is pre-enabled 'Display last modified date' option.

Save and display the the Page resource.

In the Page resource:

make sure the last modified date is displayed.

Edit the Page resource.

disable the 'Display last modified date' option.

Save and display the Page resource.

In the Page resource:

make sure the last modified date is NOT displayed.

Description

When creating a Page, the user should be given an option to show or hide the "Last modified" text.

The option "Display modified date" should be in the Appearance section, with "Display page name" and "Display page description"
