Add "Participants Per Page" configuration setting for site

      1. Log in as admin and create a course with more than 20 participants and some activities.
      2. Visit the course and go to the participants page.
      3. Confirm there are 20 participants listed per page.
      4. Go to Website-Administration / Courses / Course default settings
      5. Adjust the setting moodlecourse / participantsperpage (e.g. to 10)
      6. Visit the courses participants page again.
      7. Confirm the number of participants listed per page has changed 'participantsperpage' value.
      8. Go to Reports > Course participation.
      9. Select an Activity module and Show only = Student and 'Go'.
      10. Confirm the number of participants listed per page is 'participantsperpage' value.

    Description

      Altering the default listing of participants in a course can only be done by editing the user index file found under wwwroot/user/index.php

      The setting is found on line 11 : define('DEFAULT_PAGE_SIZE', 20);

      Altering the numerical value within this line is the only way to change the number of participants appearing on a page.

      A course or site wide configuration setting would improve this functionality.
