To test, you need a user (preferably non-admin) who has some badges earned.

      1. Go to user profile page and bring one of the user badges on a separate page.

      2. Keep this page open, and meantime as an admin delete this user.

      3. Reload previously open badge page. Now, you should not see this user's email in badge details and you should see a note next to a user's name that this user no longer exists.

As was discussed while testing MDL-40712, we don't really handle badge pages of deleted users at the moment. Need to think what to do with those.
