When attaching files to a forum post they appear in the editor in the order uploaded, however when displayed they are ordered by timemodified, which has the effect of having the display order the reverse of the order in the editor.
My tutors use case is that they are uploading a sequence of images but when displayed they are in reverse order. The workaround is of course to uploaded them in reverse.
