      Description

For one course we have had trouble downloading all assignments into a zip file. The system appeared to be processing but just returned a blank page, no zip file. After trying repeatedly over three days only once could we actually download the zip file.

Is it possible to have a selection field on the assignment download so we can download in batches of 10 or 20 or half the number of assignments... something more usable than 1-by-1 or All?

We are currently using 2.2, moving shortly to 2.5. From what I can see this request will still apply to 2.5

      Actions in 2.2:
Assignment activity - Advanced uploading of files; Maximum size currently set at 2GB**; Allow deleting Yes; Maximum number of files 15; Allow notes No; Hide descripation before available date No; Amail alerts to teachers No; Enable 'send for marking button' No.
      View submitted assignments
Download all assignments as a zip
Blank screen returned in most attempts
Retry all steps at a later time.

        • the lecturer has changed the maximum file size several times in the hope that it affected the size of the zip - if it was too small the job would fail.
