Hiding a category does not (visually) hide the courses in the category.

      1. Using MYSQL
      2. Log in as an admin
      3. Browse to the course management page
      4. Click on a category containing a subcategory
      5. Click on a subcategory containing courses.
      6. Click to hide the subcategory, check the courses are hidden
      7. Click to show the subcategory, check the courses are now shown again.
      8. Click to hide the categories parent category, check all courses get shown as hidden.

      Marking a category hidden, turns all sub-categories to hidden mode, makes the text dimmed, which is correct. However it doesn't do the same for all the courses in the same category. For courses the tool marks them hidden internally but the text doesn't become dimmed as happens with child categories. Reported by Ankit on MDL-31830.
