Google Chrome Move Function Does Not Work

Recently began working in Google Chrome and have been testing all features in Moodle 2.3.2. Discovered that I could not get the Move function to work on any of the activities on the course content page. This is the latest version of Google Chrome - downloaded last week - November 19. We are on Linux. I tried to move a variety of items including: section, file, assignment, and label and I could not get any of the them to move when using the Move Icon. When I click on the icon I get the Move command but in trying to use it I get the NO sign - zero with line through it. Move feature working fine when I log-in using Firefox.
