Sorry guys but there are problems here. The "sentence" doesn't parse grammatically in English, and is likely to be completely off in other languages too. Plus the "Choose...." options everywhere ...
How about:
Remove the visible label from the first menu and default to "Selected categories"
Second menu remove the label and just have "Sort categories by name"/"Sort categories by idnumber" with first one selected
Third menu remove label and just have "Sort courses by name" / "Sort courses by short name" / "Sort courses by IS number" with first one selected
Then "Go" button
