Course completion report not showing manually added grade after update to 2.5.2+

      1. Enable completion site-wide and for a particular course
      2. Create several activities with different completion criteria:
      • manual completion
      • automatic completion on view
      • automatic completion on receiving grade (x2)
      1. Through gradebook set minimum passing grade for one of completion-on-grade activities
      2. Set up course completion criteria = completion of all activities
      3. As student(s) attempt some activities, make sure that one of the students completes the graded activities but does not achieve the passing grade, another completes and achieves grade.
      4. As a teacher view course completion report and make sure that
      • "Course completion" and "Activities completion" reports look similar,
      • graded activities are displayed as notcompleted / completed-passed / completed-failed
      • other activities are displayed as notcompleted / completed
      • course completion is calculated properly

      Note: you must run cron (sometimes twice - MDL-33320) to update course completion status

      Description

      (This is a re-post because I originally accidentally placed this under "tracker.moodle" and got no response.)

      I recently upgraded from 2.3.3 to Moodle 2.5.2+ (Build: 20131025). I needed to move a person from one course to another and transfer grades for quizzes that were identical between the two courses. After manually entering the grades, they would not show up in the course completion report in 2.5.2. I never had this issue in version 2.3.3. All settings are as they were before the upgrade.
      In the grader report, I expected to be able to turn editing on, record a score for a quiz, update, and that score show up as a check mark in the course completion report because it was a passing grade for that quiz.
      I was able to enter the appropriate score and the "box" changed to the shaded box showing that a score had been manually added. However, the course completion report didn't acknowledge the input of the score as had happened in the earlier version.
      I have screen shots if you need them but I didn't know how to add here. Thank you.

      **Additionally, when a quiz is taken, that attempt doesn't show up in the completion report either. Again, no settings have been changed between the 2.3.3 version and 2.5.2+ version.

      **Further information, both instances are recorded in the "activity completion" under the reports menu in course administration with the 2.5.2+ version. However, when using the "view course report" in the "course completion status" block created in 2.3.3, the added grade AND the passing quiz attempt are not showing as complete. Again, I have screen shots is needed. Thank you.

      Further information, I have discovered that there is a cron script (site administration>notifications)that, when manually run, will populate a check mark on the appropriate "view course report" where a quiz with a passing score has been taken. It will not however, place an X for a quiz that has a failing score. Version 2.3.3 would populate both in real or near real time without having to run the mentioned cron script. Thank you.

      **Additional information, after setting the cron script described above to run every 30 minutes, it appears that some SCORM packages I have set up in a course no longer show when the package is completed. Could this be related?
