User receives Invalid User ID error when accessing message history

      You will need a course and a teacher or admin enrolled in that course.

      Log in as the user and go to the course. Go to Current course > (course name) > Participants. Tick yourself and select "send a message" from the drop down.

      Send yourself a message.

      Go to My profile > messages and select "recent conversations" from the drop down.

      Click the link to view the conversation. Check you do not receive an error.

      Description

      When an instructor sends a message to all participants in the class, he/she is unable to view his/her own message history.

      Steps to Reproduce:

      1. Create a course
      2. Enrol yourself and 1 other user
      3. Go into newly created course
      4. Click on Participants under the People block
      5. Select all the users listed including your account
      6. Choose "Send a Message"
      7. Enter a message and Preview
      8. Select Send Message
      9. After the message is sent, go to the Navigation block and select My Profile > Messages
      10. Select Recent Conversations
      11. Click on name link next to image
      12. Click back
      13. Click the link "this conversation" near your name

      Expected Result: Message(s) should load

      Actual Result: Invalid user id error is shown...
