If you have many grades in your course, your grade book will become quite big. Moodle allows you to make grade categories, which improves the oversight of grades a bit.

I would really like to see a collapsible category. Just a simple + before a category that will open and close the view of the assignments in this category.

It should be the same way as you see the navigation block collapse.
