      Description

      Hi,

after reading http://docs.moodle.org/dev/Integration_Review#Backporting I have some doubts regarding the Mobile app service.

The Mobile app service (in Admin / Plugins / WebServices /services) list the web service functions available to be consumed by clients using the Mobile service.

As you know, the main client is the official Mobile app. If I want to add a new feature in the Mobile app that uses Web Services not currently available in the Mobile app service, I have to edit the https://github.com/moodle/moodle/blob/master/lib/db/services.php#L893 file in order to add a new function in the service description.

Is this considered a new feature to be integrated in master?

In my opinion, it's a change of configuration that should be integrated in master and backported to all stable

This will help us to add more and more features in the app without dependencies to major versions
