Using 1.5.2+, a short answer quiz question shows previous answers as they begin to be typed, a result of the form history being saved on the local computer. I have more students in my class than I have computers (doh!) and students have to take quizzes in class in two shifts. The second student simply has to start typing the right answer (or even just try each letter on the keyboard to find the right one) and is then presented with the correct answer (or possibly incorrect answer) from the previous student's attempt on the same computer. My classroom uses Macs and both Safari and Firefox have the same issue. Private Browsing in Safari does keep responses from being saved, but a) it has to be turned on each time Safari is opened, and b) once the damage is done by forgetting to turn on Private Browsing once, the entry is now saved for all future attempts, except for digging in the User Library to find and remove the AutoFill history. It would be nice if the secure window would treat short answer questions like a password entry and not save the response for future attempts rather than relying on Private Browsing or similar features of a browser.
