Install the simulate quiz report (see instructions on this page) : https://github.com/jamiepratt/moodle-quiz_simulate

Restore backup of quiz :

mod/quiz/report/simulate/examples/singleattemptonetryperstudent/quiz.mbz

Go to the simulate report for the quiz in Quiz Admin menu -> Results -> Simulate.

Upload mod/quiz/report/simulate/examples/singleattemptonetryperstudent/stepdata.csv in the simulate report.

Then go back to the simulate report and press the download button.

Compare the file you downloaded to the original 'mod/quiz/report/simulate/examples/singleattemptonetryperstudent/stepdata.csv'.

We use a new method on the question_definition object to convert question data to a format usable in csv files.
