Upload User CSV File emailadress not trimmed (spaces)

• Create an EXCEL CSV file including users with emailadress
• Add a white space to the end/beginning of the emailadress
• Upload users through moodles upload users process
• Try to manually delete the whitespace from emailadress of the user through moodle interface (which moodle doesn't allow you to do)

Whitespaces at the end of the emailadress are not deleted when users are uploaded. Moodle gives a warning that problems occured (which doesn't help when several hundred users are uploaded) No welcome email is send. The only way to get rid of the white space is through deleting in DB.

It would be nice if moodle could trim the emailadress when creating the user.
