    Description

      This was raised in context of ghostscript and edit pdf, which is a tricky case, because the path to ghostscript needs to be configured before it can be checked.

      I don't know what the solution is, but people tend to upgrade, find edit pdf is not working and then discover that ghostscript is required - it should be the other way around.
