Course search box in course/index.php doesn't show when you navigate to the page.

      In a site with several courses in only one course category

      1. Login as an admin
      2. Click Courses in the main navigation block
      3. Search for a course using the box at the bottom of the main content area
      4. Return to the Courses list by clicking Courses in the main navigation block
      5. Click Manage Courses in the upper right and confirm that it brings you to the course management page
      6. Create a second category and move a course to it
      7. Assign a user the role of manager in this category by using Assign Roles in the Category menu of the Administration block
      8. Log in as that user
      9. Click the Courses link in the Navigation block
        • Confirm that the listing shows the site's categories and a search box, but does not show a Manage Courses button.
      10. Enter the category you are a manager of
        • Confirm that the listing shows the site's categories, a search box, and a Manage Courses button.
      11. Enter a category you are not a manager of
        • Confirm that the listing shows the site's categories and a search box, but does not show a Manage Courses button.

      If your moodle site only has one category, the returns of the "Courses" link in the Navigation block will not show a search box unless you go to the second page of returns.

      To replicate.

      1. In a new Moodle site, add twenty-five courses to the default category.
      2. Follow the courses link in the main Navigation block.

      No search box appears until you navigate to the second page of results!
