Wherever there is a form element that has been hardfrozen (by calling $mform->hardFreeze() control (I used the "Standard scale" field when creating a grade scale), confirm using your favourite firebug clone that the label is attached to the disabled from element.

Wherever there is a form element that has been hardfrozen (by calling $mform->hardFreeze() control (I used the "Standard scale" field when creating a grade scale), confirm using your favourite firebug clone that the label is attached to the disabled from element.

When using hardfreeze on a form, the labels for the frozen elements no longer link to the input elements that they are associated to.

One location that I have found this in core moodle is when you create a grade scale, the "Standard Scale" label does not point to the frozen checkbox
