Copy and paste import from excel into the gradebook.

      1. Go to or create a course with a few assessments in it.
      2. Download the gradebook as a text file [Administration ► Grade administration ► Export ► Plain text file].
      3. Open the csv file in excel (or libre office), make some alterations.
      4. Go to the direct import from copy and paste [Administration ► Grade administration ► Import ► Copy and paste from spreadsheet].
      5. Copy and paste the data from excel into the data section of the form. Make sure to copy the column headings as well.
      6. Click upload grades, map the columns and assessment columns and import.
      7. Check that the import is successful.

      Unit tests

      1. Please run grade/import/csv/tests/load_data_test.php and check that there are no errors.

    Description

      It would be convenient to just copy and paste rows from excel straight into the gradebook. This could be added to the csv import form.
