    Description

      A follow on from an issue that has been around for a long time
      MDL-18043, MDL-45092

      When using CSV upload, you can insert a user into the user table with a space on the end of the users email address. This has thrown a few bugs throughout Moodle in code that is not expecting a space to be after the value.

      In previous versions, you have been able to create a user manually also with a space after the email but it seems validation has been added to the form at some point.
