      Description

It seems to me that a lot of people use groups to separate out different companies/schools etc within a course. I believe there would be a lot of interest if we were able to automatically create and assign students to groups within LDAP enrolment.

There would be 2 possible ways of doing this that I can think of -
      1. Long way for admins- create subgroups under each course for each group. This would be time intensive to set up and create a huge amount of security groups in the LDAP directory but is probably simpler to code.

      2. Easier way for admins - create groups from a field in the user profile. This would work extremely well as students would automatically be assigned to a group based on a profile field - Institution for example. Using a profile field would mean that regardless of what course they were enrolled in, they would always be in the correct group.
