Using JAWS + IE and NVDA + Firefox:

Create a test course.

Navigate to the grader single view, and select an activity from the dropdown box.

Use your screen reader to navigate to the single view table.

Verify that the screen reader describes the table adequately using the summary attribute.

Verify that the cells in the table have appropriately identified row and column headers.

Select a user to view the single view for.

Use your screen reader to navigate to the single view table.

Verify that the screen reader describes the table adequately using the summary attribute.

Verify that the cells in the table have appropriately identified row and column headers.

Description

This issue improves ARIA compliance of the tables generated by the single view. In brief:

Row header table header cells are now used
Leading table columns have been merged (3 -> 1 for grade single view, 2 -> 1 for user single view)
summary attribute fields on tables have been populated
Avatars are now hidden from screen readers
