1/ try the new page at My profile settings > Activity reports > Browser sessions
2/ Open multiple browser sessions
3/ Verify that multiple browsers sessions are listed in that report

Please note the account needs to have capability to change own password in order to use this new page. This should prevent problems when accounts are shared by several users.

Gmail has it, why not Moodle?

use cases:

verification if somebody else is using your account
verifying you did not forget to logout on some other computer
logout yourself from some other computer when you forgot to do it when you left the other computer
