      Description

Talking with one teacher (Antonio Vicent) he pointed me about the interesting possibility of enable the possibility to delete choice answers by the teacher.

This would allow teachers to perform periodic choices about the same question to detect changes in student preferences and so on.

As I see the feature I can see two different paths to add this functionality:

1.- Simple: Add a new Delete answers button /link that, after verification will delete all the answers.

2.- Complex: Store previous answers to other table (or the same with some type of saved version field to allow new choices to be performed by students. Create some reports to analyze changes over different versions.

Just one idea but I think it could be a good idea (from teacher perspective).

one step ahead of ya part 1 has been in head for a week or so. (isn't compatible with 1.5 due to the change of the name of a column (although if you download the whole choice mod from head and install it in a 1.5 version it should work!)

there is a minor problem that I haven't fixed with it yet though. - if there are students that are no-longer enrolled in the course, the report page doesn't display them (therefore it doesn't allow you to delete their entries...) - I'm thinking about having a button on the page to allow to show all responses all repsonses from enrolled students all responses from unenrolled students

Yep. Switching between enrolled/all students sounds good although, perhaps it would be ok to show always all the answers performed, no matter if the student is enrolled or no.

Nice to see that the delete answers option is present under 1.6! B-)

Finally, talking about my 2nd point above (add the possibility to store sets of answers to perform comparison/analysys between sets) could be really cool, more if one option to perform periodical saves to new set can be defined (weekly, monthly, every xx days...)

          Just thinking along I type...

hmm - sounds cool - I'll think about it some more.... - I can't show all responses on the report page by default because of people using the limit function - an option might have a limit of 4, but the report might show 8 responses. thinking while I type I might need to rethink that a bit - if I add the option to view non-enrolled users to the report, I'll remove the check for an enrolled student when the limits are calculated.
