Go into a course with students and download the gradebook in Excel format Open the file in excel Add two columns, give them headings "Item 1" and "Item 2" Give the students grades Select the entire file and go into the Moodle import gradebook from spreadsheet paste Paste the content and continue Set both Map from and Map to to "Email address" Next to "Item 1" and "Item 2" select New grade item Click upload grades Confirm in the gradebook that both Item 1 and Item 2 have been created an populated with appropriate grades
