Possible to remove submission while status shows as submitted

      Editing submission with an empty folder only
      1. Log in as a teacher/admin
      2. Create an assignment with the following settings:
        • Submission types: File submissions
        • Submission settings > Attempts reopened: Manually
      3. Log in as a student and go to the assignment.
      4. Upload a file as a student
      5. Edit the submission
      6. Delete the file
      7. Create a folder
      8. Save the submission
      9. Confirm you see an error that says nothing was submitted
      10. Press Cancel
      11. Confirm that the original file still shows as the submission
      Editing a submission by deleting the file and uploading it inside a folder
      1. Edit the submission again
      2. Delete the file
      3. Create a folder
      4. Click on the folder to navigate into it and upload a file
      5. Save the submission
      6. Confirm that the submission is saved
      7. Confirm that the submission now shows the submitted file in the folder.
      Both file and online text submissions enabled
      1. Log in as a teacher/admin
      2. Edit the assignment and tick "Online text" under submission types.
      3. Save the changes.
      4. Log in as the student and go to the assignment.
      5. Edit the submission.
      6. Go to the folder and delete the submitted file.
      7. Submit the assignment.
      8. Confirm that you see an error message that indicates that nothing was submitted.
      9. Enter something on the online text field.
      10. Confirm that the assignment is submitted.
      11. Confirm that the submission only now reflects the online text that was submitted by the student.

      When editing a file submission, it is possible to delete the submission, save, and then navigate away.

      Although an error message is shown warning of an empty submission, the submission is still gone while the status shows as submitted.
