Internet Explorer 11 doesn't seem to display the gradebook properly when editing is on in Moodle 2.8. This is most notable in courses with large numbers of students and a large number of assignments. When one scrolls to the right, students no longer line up properly with their grade row. When editing is off, and one scrolls to the right, students line up properly with their grade row.
For testing:
1. Create a course. Enroll approximately 20 students in the course, and create a sufficient number of grade items so you will have to scroll to the right in the gradebook to view all of the items.
2. In the gradebook, turn editing on. Scroll to the right. At the point that the students move with the scrolling, the students become misaligned with their grade row.
3. Turn editing off. Scroll to the right. With editing off, the students stay aligned with their grade row.
