We're reviewing the external functions documentation and we've found that:

Several external functions are missing here: https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Web_service_API_functions
Some deprecations were not documented (mod_forum_get_discussions) thanks mudrd8mz for spotting that
We don't have clear rules about how documenting external functions changes (or new functions) in the upgrade.txt files
