Contacts in messaging are all bold

      1. Go to messages and add a few people as contacts
      2. Switch to Recent conversations
      3. Confirm that the names are not bold
      4. Compare with 2.8, it should look the same
      5. Repeat with theme_base.

      In 2.8 only the contact that you were currently talking to was bold. Now all contacts are bold.
